Speech and Language Professionals
At Redwood Speech Therapy, our goal is to provide expert assessment and treatment of speech, voice, language and swallowing difficulties. Communication is vital skill that allows us to participate in the world around us, and we value being able to help people find their voices.
Expert Therapy
Meaghan began working as a Speech Language Pathologist after graduating from the University of British Columbia in 2014. Since then, her areas of practice have focused on adults with aphasia (language difficulties), dysarthria (changes in speech clarity), voice disorders and dysphagia (difficulty swallowing). Meaghan has additional training in fluency (stuttering) and also enjoys working with young children and teens on articulation and language.

In addition to being Registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and Certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada, Meaghan has additional certifications in Lee-Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT), SPEAK OUT! voice therapy, advanced certificates in Management of Communication and Swallowing for Tracheostomy and Ventilated Patients, and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies for adults.
**COVID-19 Update: To help reduce the risk of COVID transmission in our community and with our potentially vulnerable clients, we continue to offer virtual services using Jane App which allows us to provide services to people throughout BC. In person therapy is also available.
